TEDxOakParkYouth
Since 2015, TEDxOakPark has organized events designed to spark conversation and connection in our community by combining engaging speakers, recorded TED Talks, and networking. Launched in 2025, our newest movement is focused on sharing ideas about and for youth in Oak Park and our surrounding communities. Our first TEDxOakParkYouth event debuts Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Oak Park & River Forest High School. Please check back often to learn more about this exciting new event as our volunteers develop our website, social media and other marketing materials.
About TEDxYouth
TEDxYouth events are some of the most dynamic and imaginative TEDx formats, tailored to inspire and engage young people. These events are either organized by youth or designed specifically for them, emphasizing creativity, fun, and innovation.
TEDxOakParkYouth Speakers + Program
Our Speaker-Performer lineup features a diverse group of folks of different ages, genders, communities, cultural backgrounds, and interests. Each TEDx Talk will be unique and crafted to resonate with a younger audience (ages 14-18).
NOTE: Thank you to all who have shown interest in doing a TEDx Talk on our stage! At this time, we are already coaching our amazing Speakers as they hone their ideas into TED Talk format, and we are no longer reviewing idea submissions. Please stay in touch with us to hear about future calls for submissions.
How to Attend
People of all ages and backgrounds are welcome and encouraged to attend the event. Tickets go on sale in January, so check back here, on our social feeds or in your inbox for updates on Speaker reveals, partnership opportunities, ticket sales, and more!

How to Get Involved
We are currently recruiting volunteers, performers, partners and experience providers for TEDxOakPark. Please reach out if you’d like to join your local TEDx movement before our event.
